Job Title: Full Stack Developer (Data-Driven Applications)

Location: Onsite – St Louis, MO

Duration: Long-term Contract on C2C

Minimum 13+years candidate required 

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer to design and build scalable, data-driven web applications. This role involves developing modern front-end interfaces that interact with high-performance backend APIs, enabling users to access and analyze large-scale datasets efficiently.

You will work closely with engineering, data, and UX teams to deliver responsive, secure, and performant applications while adhering to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop front-end web interfaces using Reactjs that consume backend APIs for data retrieval and visualization
• Build and maintain backend services using fast APIs and Django frameworks
• Develop efficient data access layers that query like Redshift, handling large-scale datasets (billions of records)
• Optimize queries and API responses to return data at the lowest grain necessary, based on user preferences and filters
• Ensure application scalability, performance, and reliability through best practices in API design, caching, and error handling
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to support intuitive and performant user experiences
• Implement security, authentication, and authorization standards across applications
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in full stack development
• Proficiency in Reach, Python, fast APIs and Django framework
• Proficiency in Django (Python) for backend development
• Experience building API-driven applications
• Solid understanding of scalability, performance tuning, and best practices
• Experience working with large datasets and data-intensive systems
• Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or similar) is a plus
