SAP WM
Location: Kentucky
Duration: 6 months
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design & Configuration and Support related activities
• Work on assigned incidents
• Work on Service request and Change Request as per the requirement.
• Provide real-time SAP WM support to warehouse users (receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping, inventory).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with:
o Transfer orders (TO) creation/confirmation
o RF scanning and mobile transactions
o Handling units (HUs) and packing screens
o Serial number inconsistencies
o User errors and operational exceptions
• Monitor system queues, failed IDocs, and interface issues affecting DC operations.
• Partner with warehouse supervisors, inventory control, and operations managers to identify system gaps and recommend SAP-driven process improvements.
• Analyze warehouse KPIs (TO cycle time, replenishment delays, pick performance, inventory accuracy) and convert insights into actionable configuration or process changes.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse throughput, reduce user pain points, and simplify RF/mobile workflows.
2. Business Process Support
• Work with business units to understand warehouse operations and propose best-practice SAP WM solutions.
• Conduct requirement gathering workshops and process mapping.
• Provide support for day-to-day WM/IM operations and resolve system issues.
3. Integration Activities
• Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules:
o SAP MM (Materials Management)
o SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)
o SAP ATTP (SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals)
• Support EDI, RF scanning, automation, and third-party logistics (3PL) integrations.
4. Testing & Documentation
• Prepare and execute unit tests, integration tests, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Develop functional documentation, training materials, and user guides.
• Support data migration activities related to warehouse master data.
5. Production Support & Continuous Improvement
• Troubleshoot SAP WM issues and provide timely resolution.
• Identify areas for process improvement and recommend enhancements.
• Assist with SAP system upgrades, patches, and WM-related projects.

Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Engg, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
Experience
• 12+ years of hands-on SAP WM configuration and support.
• Experience in warehouse operations and logistics processes.
• Knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) is a plus.
Technical Skills
• Strong understanding of SAP WM/MM master data and transaction flows.
• Experience with RF devices, barcode scanning, and mobile data entry.
• Ability to create functional specs and work with ABAP developers.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
Soft Skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
• Ability to train end users and explain complex concepts clearly.
