Title: Workday Time Tracking & Absence Specialist
Location: Remote (CST preferred)
Short contract: March-October 2026
We’re seeking a Workday Time Tracking & Absence Specialist to lead configuration, optimization, and support of Workday’s Time Tracking and Absence modules. This role requires a certified Workday professional who can translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and serve as a subject matter expert.
Required Certification
Workday Time Tracking Certification (Must have)
Key Responsibilities
· Lead and support implementation and optimization of Workday Time Tracking and Absence
· Configure business processes including leave of absence, accruals, time-off plans, work schedules, time entry, calculations, approvals, and security roles
· Gather business requirements and translate them into effective Workday configurations
· Develop and maintain functional documentation
· Partner with integration teams to support testing, validation, and issue resolution
· Execute system testing, troubleshoot defects, and ensure high-quality delivery
· Serve as SME, provide guidance to stakeholders, and deliver status updates to PMO
· Recommend enhancements leveraging new Workday features and best practices
Qualifications
· 3–6 years of hands-on experience with Workday Time Tracking & Absence
· Strong understanding of Workday Business Process Framework and data model
· Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
· Strong stakeholder communication and project management abilities
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
