Role: Lead DBA (NOSQL/MySQL)
Location: Boston, MA

Role Description:

·        MySQL Couchbase L3 DBA

·        Design multi-region HA with group replication or orchestrators.

·        Plan sharding or partitioning and data lifecycle.

·        Tune buffer pool, redo, and IO patterns.

·        Build useful baselines and dashboards.

·        Solve complex locking and contention.

·        Automate build, patch, and drift detection.

· Enforce schema and release standards.

·        Implement encryption, auditing, and compliance.

·        Forecast capacity and manage cost.

·        Coach DBAs and partner with engineering.
