Job Details
We are looking for a Senior Mobile Application Developer with strong experience in building high-usage mobile applications targeted at low-tech consumer audiences. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in native and hybrid mobile app development, end-to-end ownership of the mobile app lifecycle, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Build and enhance native and hybrid mobile applications using React Native and JavaScript.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend REST APIs, ensuring secure and scalable data exchange.
- Manage end-to-end mobile app build and release processes, including CI pipelines and publishing apps to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Implement and maintain push notification frameworks, including complete lifecycle management and certificate handling.
- Ensure code quality and stability through version control (Git) and structured Git flow practices.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with product managers, backend engineers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive and reliable mobile solutions.
- Communicate technical ideas, system architecture, and implementation approaches clearly to gain stakeholder alignment.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in mobile application design, development, and maintenance.
- Strong expertise in React Native and JavaScript for cross-platform mobile development.
- Proven experience building applications for low-tech or mass-market users with a focus on usability and performance.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and mobile-backend integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD tools for mobile app builds and deployment.
- In-depth knowledge of push notifications, certificate management, and app lifecycle handling.
- Proficiency in Git and Git flow for source control and release management.
- Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
