Job Summary:
We are seeking an accomplished Business Analyst with strong experience in the telecommunications industry and a solid background in Agile/Scrum methodologies. The ideal candidate, like Suresh, will bring a unique blend of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and leadership skills to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering and analyzing requirements, and ensuring the successful delivery of client-focused telecom solutions within Agile frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to analyze, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews) in the capacity of a Scrum Master or supporting Agile leader.
- Drive end-to-end requirement analysis and process improvement initiatives for telecom-based systems, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Act as a liaison between business users, development teams, and external clients, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding of project goals and deliverables.
- Identify, assess, and document business processes and workflows, recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and risks, ensuring successful implementation of client solutions with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Utilize Agile and Scrum principles to lead teams through iterative development cycles, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Participate in the adoption and continuous improvement of SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices within the organization.
- Provide timely issue resolution and facilitate decision-making through effective problem-solving and communication.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in the telecommunications industry with proven success as a Business Analyst, Scrum Master, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies; hands-on experience facilitating Agile ceremonies.
- Proven ability to analyze complex systems and translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with the capacity to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams within large-scale, client-focused environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to SAFe Agile practices or formal SAFe certification (SA, SPC) in progress or completed.
- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, and Visio.

Skill Set:
- Software Developer with a strong background in the telecommunications domain and hands-on expertise in C/C++, PL/SQL, SQL, and UNIX/Linux scripting.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and modernizing legacy systems, migrating applications to new platforms, and ensuring optimal performance across software and database layers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis and reverse engineering of existing legacy application codebases (primarily in C/C++) to understand system functionality, dependencies, and data flow.
- Develop detailed technical documentation to support knowledge transfer and modernization activities.
- Plan, develop, and execute migration projects for applications and associated data from legacy environments to modern platforms, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C, C++, PL/SQL, and SQL to support both migration efforts and new feature development.
- Design, develop, and maintain database objects (stored procedures, functions, triggers, etc.) in Oracle; perform performance tuning and query optimization for high-volume systems.
- Configure and manage web and application servers (Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat), ensuring seamless integration with backend systems and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing applications to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Create and manage automated scripts and jobs using AIX/UNIX/Linux shell scripting, contributing to system reliability and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and external systems, ensuring secure and efficient communication between services.
- Implement microservice-based architectures, promoting reusability, modularity, and resilience across distributed systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
- Work closely with front-end, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and optimized performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions within the development team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java backend development and Telco background
- Strong expertise in Core Java, Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data, Spring Security), and Microservices.
- Hands-on experience with RESTful API development and JSON/XML-based data exchange.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar for automated build and deployment.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and version control systems (Git).
- Strong understanding of RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL query optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and monitoring tools (Prometheus, ELK, Grafana) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
