Job Title: Sr. Data Scientist

Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. Data Scientist with strong experience in developing and deploying fraud detection models in AWS environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to create end-to-end data science solutions that support Fiserv’s Fraud Operations.

Qualifications

• Graduate or Postgraduate from a reputable institute.

• 5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science (4+ years for DS level).

• Strong experience building and deploying fraud or risk models in AWS.

• Proficient in Python or PySpark (mandatory).

• Strong knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

• Good understanding of ML algorithms, statistical methods, and fraud patterns.

• Experience with AWS tools like SageMaker, Docker, and EKS.

• Experience working in Agile teams.

• Work with ML Engineers, Data Engineers, QA, and client teams to build complete ML pipelines.

• Design and develop fraud detection models for digital and card transactions.

• Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and model optimization.

• Collaborate with business teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Build and maintain ML pipelines for training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.

• Deploy and manage models using AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway).

• Optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Use MLOps practices for production deployments.

• Conduct A/B testing and track model performance.

• Reduce false positives/negatives and improve model accuracy.
