We are looking for a Sr. Data Scientist with strong experience in developing and deploying fraud detection models in AWS environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to create end-to-end data science solutions that support Fiserv’s Fraud Operations.
Qualifications
Graduate or Postgraduate from a reputable institute.
5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science (4+ years for DS level).
Strong experience building and deploying fraud or risk models in AWS.
Good understanding of ML algorithms, statistical methods, and fraud patterns.
Experience with AWS tools like SageMaker, Docker, and EKS.
Experience working in Agile teams.
Work with ML Engineers, Data Engineers, QA, and client teams to build complete ML pipelines.
Design and develop fraud detection models for digital and card transactions.
Perform feature engineering, model tuning, and model optimization.
Collaborate with business teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Build and maintain ML pipelines for training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
Deploy and manage models using AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway).
Optimize models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Conduct A/B testing and track model performance.
Reduce false positives/negatives and improve model accuracy.
