Job Description:
Manage the scrum process by coordinating with the Scrum Team and other Scrum Masters, participating onsite a minimum of three days per week.
Keep the squad on track with deliverables, foresee upcoming risks and impediments, and navigate the team through them.
Adapt Agile practices with customer ways of working, especially with GxP-validated systems.
Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews and Sprint Retrospectives, ensuring productivity and time-boxing.
Help the team reach consensus and facilitate decision-making.
Promote Agile best practices and a mindset of learning, collaboration and experimentation.
Track team progress with metrics such as velocity and burn-down charts and ensure transparency in reporting. Manage the product backlog and refine user stories.
Create practical project plans and perform capacity planning. Coach team members on Agile practices and foster their growth.
Encourage continuous improvement through retrospectives and help the team identify areas for enhancement.
Address conflicts within the team and facilitate amicable resolutions.
Maintain deep understanding of Agile principles and practices, including Scrum, Kanban and Lean. Engage and manage relationships with stakeholders, product owners, team members and external partners.
Utilize Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence. Possess strong skills to coach the team in following Agile Scrum processes.
Demonstrate basic understanding of software development processes, Agile engineering practices and DevOps.
Apply knowledge of user story management, continuous integration, continuous testing, task and capacity planning. Facilitate meetings, workshops and ceremonies effectively.
Analyze and report on performance metrics and use data to drive improvements.
Uphold commitments to deliver products on time. Scrum Master certification preferred.
GxP experience required. Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, self-motivation, proactivity, attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure. Experience in the life sciences or CPG industry is a plus.
