Java API Integration Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Contract
Rate: $80/hr on C2C
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend services and APIs.
Architect scalable and secure systems using modern technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product.
Drive code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
Optimize performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Stay current with backend trends and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field.
8+ years of backend development experience, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Expertise in one or more backend languages (e.g., Java, Node.js, Python, Go).
Strong experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Proficiency with databases (SQL and NoSQL), caching, and message queues.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).
Knowledge of GraphQL, serverless architecture, or event-driven systems.
Exposure to security best practices and compliance standards.
