Product Manager (Payment Systems and e-Commerce )
Location: 100% Remote

Job Description :
Must Have’s (make sure these are on the resume, in the company descriptions, not just at the top in the summary)
• 5+ years’ experience in Product Management, financial background, must have payment background for finance e-Commerce products with a large user base!
• Must have experience with “Payment Systems” … PAYMENTS – like Venmo, Zelle, Ebay, PayPal, other payment platforms etc, any other online payment systems
• Must understand payment platforms, payment analytics
• Candidates MUST come from e-Commerce companies like : “THE GAP”, or Macy’s or Kohl’s or Old Navy or NIKE, or “Banana Republic”, “Williams Sanoma”, “Restoration Hardware” or other clothing companies or online companies that sell fashion products, or beauty or clothing or home products…etc…
Responsibilities:
• Drive cross-functional teams comprised of both business and technical roles during the product development lifecycle; champion the needs of clients; develop detailed requirements and feature definitions; partner with IT on development, testing & implementation plans, as well as internal communications & deployment plans.
• Work with both business stakeholders and technical teams like Front End/Back End/Middleware Engineering, QA, Architecture, PMO, UX teams, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, etc.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to refine requirements and define enhancements, creating buy-in from other teams as necessary.
• Assess scope, requirements, use case/user scenario, test case documents and design specifications, in partnership with UX, product managers, QA and design. Proactively identify issues. Work closely with key business leaders at senior levels.
• Synthesize business requirements, identify areas of uncertainty, recommend solutions, gather buy-in from relevant stakeholders, shepherd features through development and provide support at launch.
• Develop metrics to measure success of program features, analyze results, and partner across the organization to develop action plans and enhancement recommendations.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years’ experience in product management or software development, preferably for payment or finance eCommerce products with a large user base.
• Experience managing third party vendors and vendor negotiation in partnership with business teams.
• Deep understanding of digital payments technology and trends
• In-depth payment processing knowledge
• Comfortable working on both technical platforms and user-facing features
• Strong drive and curiosity to come up with new ideas, identify opportunities and create vision to drive the business forward.
• Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Nice To Have:
• Prior experience in a multi-channel retail environment or other customer-focused technology products.
• Experience with complex integrations.
• Strong technical background is nice to have, but more importantly they have a willingness learn.
• Experience with payment analytics
