- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in project management experience using different methodologies.
- PMP or CAPM certification is preferred; progression toward either certification is recommended.
- Ability to manage all assigned projects within the PMO Roadmap, adhering to the required documentation, schedule, resources, and budget efficiently and effectively.
- Provide project status updates through established PMO documentation and process.
- Ensures that projects have a concrete scope and appropriate requirements defined. Ensures users' and project team members' roles and responsibilities are defined.
- Coordinates, drives, and monitors activities of all entities involved to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards and expected requirements.
- Creates, reviews, and maintains project management plans, charters, schedules, communication matrixes, test plans, user and stakeholder acceptance, risk/issue logs, change management processes, and lessons learned documentation.
- Tracks projects using established PMO tools (Microsoft Project, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams) and reports data to team and management.
- Communicates project status to appropriate management and stakeholders and addresses cost/schedule/quality issues promptly.
- Ability to work effectively with contractors and vendors, either assigned or awarded to all PMO assigned Capital and Operational projects.
- Proactively manage project risks and issues – identify and mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
