Minimum Qualifications
• Seven (7) years of experience supporting workplace technologies services
• Five (5) years of experience managing IT support, systems, processes, and vendors
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• Three (3) years of experience managing or supervising
• Soft Skills: High-level problem-solving, communication (translating technical concepts for non-technical staff), and adaptability in fast-paced clinical environments.
Preferred Qualifications
o Education: Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, IT, Computer Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is often preferred.
o Experience supporting workplace technology services in a large healthcare system
o Experience in defining, measuring, and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
o Proven financial management skills, including operational budget tasks
o Awareness of workplace analytics or digital employee experience management tools
o Strong working knowledge of IT workplace technology services
o Experience with implementing and managing ITIL processes, including knowledge, incident, change, service request, problem management, configuration management, release management, capacity management, and major incident management
o Experience with vendor management, including success in conducting RFPs and vendor service transitions
o Experience in assessing and mitigating risks associated with workplace technology services
o Experience in leading technology change and deployments
o Experience managing or supervising personnel working under a collective bargaining agreement

Responsibilities & Typical Duties
o Leads and manages the Workplace Technologies team, including hiring, coaching, and developing team members
o Oversees the management of Workplace Technologies applications and infrastructure, encompassing Microsoft 365 services, collaboration and messaging tools, intranets and portals, generative AI, low/no-code citizen development, unified endpoint management and compliance, printing services, and application and desktop virtualization platforms
o Develops and maintains an accurate inventory of all IT assets within the organization, including hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals
o Strategically manages Workplace Technologies services and vendors in collaboration with sourcing, procurement, and vendor management teams
o Collaborates with Technology, Experience, Human Resources, and other key stakeholders to set the vision, mission, and strategic direction for Workplace Technologies, focusing on enhancing the employee experience and aligning with business goals
o Leads efforts to continuously improve Workplace Technologies services, collaborating with internal teams and external partners
o Develops and manages the annual budget for Workplace Technologies initiatives, aligning it with overall organizational objectives
o Ensures Workplace Technology releases, standards, usage, and licensing comply with corporate policies and security standards
o Monitors the performance and usage of Workplace Technologies, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement
o Communicates regularly with stakeholders to provide updates on technology initiatives, solicit feedback, and ensure alignment with business objectives
o Stays abreast of new technologies and platforms, guiding the integration of emerging technologies to meet business demands and enhance workforce digital dexterity
o Contributes to the development of disaster recovery and business continuity plans for Workplace Technologies team services and maintains documentation for workplace technology products and services
o Champions workplace technology services and operations, setting program goals, and measuring impact to demonstrate effectiveness
o Establishes and leads a workplace technology steering committee to guide strategic decisions and initiatives
o Performs other duties as assigned
