Workday Integration Developer – Must be able to work – 4x a week onsite in Edison NJ – Must be Workday Integration Certified

 

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer to support a leading financial services client based in Edison, NJ. The ideal candidate will be Workday Integration Certified and have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex Workday integrations. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work onsite four days per week.

Key Responsibilities

•             Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Workday integrations using:

o             Workday Studio

o             Core Connectors (CCW, CCB, CCTPP)

o             Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB)

o             Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP)

•             Build and maintain inbound and outbound integrations between Workday and third-party systems such as payroll providers, benefits vendors, financial systems, and other enterprise applications.

•             Collaborate with HR, Finance, Payroll, and IT teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into technical integration solutions.

•             Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve integration issues in a timely manner.

•             Support Workday HCM, Payroll, and Financials integration touchpoints.

•             Manage integration documentation, including design specs, mappings, and support procedures.

•             Participate in Workday releases, testing cycles, and post-production support.

•             Ensure integrations comply with security, data privacy, and audit standards, especially within a financial services environment.

Required Qualifications

•             Workday Integration Certification (Required)

•             5+ years of overall IT experience with 3+ years of hands-on Workday Integration development

•             Strong experience with:

o             Workday Studio

o             EIBs

o             Core Connectors

o             XSLT, XML, JSON

•             Experience integrating Workday with Financial systems, payroll providers, and benefit vendors

•             Solid understanding of Workday HCM and/or Financials data models

•             Experience working in financial services or highly regulated environments preferred

•             Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

•             Experience with Workday Financials integrations

•             Prior experience supporting large enterprise Workday implementations

•             Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

Experience with Workday security framework related to integrations
