Job Title: Senior Database Management Specialist
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid) (Only Local to MD, DE, DC, VA who can attained F2F Interview)

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage complex enterprise databases, data lakes, and warehouses.
- Implement robust database architecture including modeling, schema design, and security.
- Design and manage data migration strategies across environments (on-premise and AWS cloud).
- Provide operational support for integrated software/hardware/cloud/mobile systems.
- Support data-driven initiatives, dashboard/report development, and application integrations.

- 4+ years’ experience with DevOps tools: Jenkins, Bamboo, Maven, Bitbucket, Jira, Git.
- 4+ years supporting document management systems.
- 4+ years supporting cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, AMIs, CI/CD, etc.).
- 4+ years in production database monitoring and batch optimization.
- 2+ years’ experience with large-scale database migration (cloud and on-premise).
- Strong skills in data modeling, database performance tuning, and security.
- Experience in managing high availability and replication in PostgreSQL/MongoDB.
- Hands-on experience in backup/recovery, patching, and indexing.
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL query design and optimization.
Preferred Qualifications:

Duties:
♦ Develop and implement cloud security controls, cloud-based processes and tools, and cloud security task automation.
♦ Perform security assessments, working closely with DevOps and Developer teams on identifying security and privacy issues in AWS or Azure and finding solutions to provide required functionality securely.
♦ Continuously monitor the Health Benefit Exchange (HBX) and ancillary systems, not limited to cloud security operations, responding to security issues and escalating as necessary.
♦ Conduct security impact analysis of controls on proposed system changes.
♦ Conduct cloud security assessments and Penetration testing.
