Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Lehi, Utah
Experience: 10+ Exp
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to support, configure, integrate, upgrade, and automate the use of enterprise tools used across our large Engineering organization.
Required Skills:
- Experience maintaining large enterprise systems and clusters using configuration tools such as Chef and SaltStack
- Engineering support and written communication skills
- Automate tasks and routines through tools and scripting, simplifying developer and operations workflows
- Cloud Concepts and hands-on experience with Public Cloud Providers such as AWS
Manager’s comments:
- Strong SRE with Manage systems, tools, troubleshooting. Operate services, day to day ops, Answering Qs ,
- Scripting languages : Bash is preferred ( Nice to have skill)
- Top priorities- Excellent Linux background, Good communications
- Splunk is nice to have
Nice to Have:
- Experience with orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience working with containers (i.e., Docker, Kubernetes, Amazon ECR/ECS/EKS)
- Experience and proficiency in one or more modern programming languages – Java J2EE or Python or Golang
