Urgent requirement for Senior Drupal Developer // San Jose, CA // 12+ months

Senior Drupal Developer	[San Jose, CA, 95112]	Objective: Participate in an existing Drupal web development team to build back-end functions and front-end presentation as part of a large web portal project. Required Skills & Abilities: • Building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Sass and JavaScript/jQuery (Drupal 8 and above preferred) • Working with HTML5/XHTML, CSS and Sass • Working with the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) • Proficiency in PHP, PHP files, theme functions and the Drupal theme layer • Using debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc. • Experience creating custom Drupal modules • Advanced site-building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal modules such as CTools, Views, and Paragraphs • Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (e.g. Requirements, Design, Development, Testing) and exposure to Agile or iterative SDLCs. • Proficiency in .Net framework and C# a plus Other Qualifications: • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Solid understanding of web accessibility standards. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage in effective dialogue with team members, stakeholders, and non-technical team members. • Web technologies • Drupal Content Management System (CMS) • Knowledge of Acquia cloud a plus (www.acquia.com/products/acquia-cloud-platform) • Drupal certification a plus, but not required.
