Senior Geneva Developer

Location: Jersey City, NJ (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)

Experience: 10+ years

Pay Range: $55 to $60 on C2C

Role Overview:

• Seeking a hands-on Senior Geneva Developer to support and enhance core financial systems for a major client. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SS&C Advent Geneva, Java 8/J2EE, Spring, REST APIs, and Oracle, with experience in Prime Services within the financial domain.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Geneva-based applications using Java, Spring, and REST.

• Enhance performance, resolve bugs, and optimize Oracle queries.

• Lead code reviews, mentor developers, and collaborate with offshore teams.

• Support QA, UAT, and production environments; provide demos and documentation.

• Ensure scalable, high-performance microservice solutions.

Required Skills:

• 10+ years in Java/J2EE with deep knowledge of SS&C Advent Geneva (RSL, RSL queries, data model, setups).

• Strong understanding of portfolio accounting, PNL, tax lot, and ledger concepts.

• Experience with Microservices, Kafka, and PL/SQL.

• Financial markets / Prime Services domain experience preferred.

• Agile development experience is a plus.
