Title : Senior PeopleSoft GL Functional Analyst
Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid)

Overview: This is the “single-most important BA on this team”. The GL Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting and optimizing the PeopleSoft General Ledger system by resolving functional issues, managing PUM updates, and ensuring accurate financial operations across the Commonwealth. Their work directly impacts system stability, audit readiness, and the efficiency of statewide financial reporting.
Must Have Requirements:
5+ years functional PeopleSoft GL experience (v9.2)
Experience with PUM upgrades
SQL/query writing
People Tools familiarity
GL business processes: journals, period close, chart fields, budget journals
Troubleshooting and Tier 2 support experience
Experience in Year-End Close and Audit Readiness (Especially for Public Sector)
Preferred:
nVision Reporting
PeopleSoft Insights
Experience updating training materials/job aids
State or government financial systems experience
Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor other BAs
Triage and resolve Tier 2 help desk tickets
Design and document fixes/enhancements
Coordinate with Tier 3 development team
Perform regression/system testing
Provide end-user support and training documentation updates
Report status to team lead regularly
