🧾 Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Functional WM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Warehouse Management (WM/EWM) to support and enhance warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of warehouse processes.
🚀 Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements related to warehouse operations and translate them into SAP WM/EWM solutions.
- Configure and support SAP WM / EWM modules including inbound, outbound, inventory management, and picking strategies.
- Work with business users to improve warehouse efficiency and optimize logistics processes.
- Participate in full lifecycle implementations including requirement gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Configure warehouse structures such as storage types, bins, sections, and strategies.
- Support integration with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution).
- Perform system testing, user training, and documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, reports, and interfaces.
🛠️ Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in SAP WM or SAP EWM as a Functional Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse processes:
- Inbound & Outbound logistics
- Putaway and Picking strategies
- Inventory management & physical inventory
- Hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration.
- Good understanding of integration with MM and SD modules.
- Experience in at least 1–2 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)
- Experience with SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
- Knowledge of RF framework, barcode scanning, and automation.
- Familiarity with S/4HANA environment.
- Basic understanding of ABAP debugging.
- Experience with third-party warehouse systems integration.
