Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager (TPM) with strong expertise in Automotive Systems Engineering, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), and AI/Generative AI to drive next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) and digital engineering initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Strategy & Roadmap
Own and evolve the product roadmap for MBSE and AI-enabled automotive platforms across E/E Architecture, SDV, ADAS, Connected Vehicle, and EV domains.
Translate OEM and Tier-1 business requirements into product vision, epics, and features.
Define value propositions for AI-assisted MBSE use cases such as:
Requirements analysis automation
Model generation
V&V automation
Digital thread enablement
2. MBSE & Systems Engineering
Drive MBSE adoption using tools such as SysML, UML, MATLAB/Simulink, Cameo, Rhapsody, 3DX.
Partner with systems engineers to align:
Requirements
Functional architectures
Logical & physical models
Verification & validation artifacts
Ensure end-to-end traceability across requirements → models → software → validation within PLM/ALM ecosystems.
3. AI / Generative AI Enablement
Define and prioritize AI/GenAI capabilities including:
MBSE Assist
Requirement intelligence
Automated test generation
Anomaly detection
Engineering copilots
Collaborate with AI teams on:
LLMs
RAG architectures
Model governance
Cloud/Edge AI deployment
Ensure compliance with automotive safety, cybersecurity, and data privacy standards.
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
Act as single Product Owner across Engineering, AI/Data Science, UX, DevOps, and Validation teams.
Collaborate with OEM stakeholders, architects, program managers, and delivery leads.
Drive Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, PI planning, sprint reviews, and release management.
5. Delivery & Governance
Ensure compliance with:
ASPICE
ISO 26262
ISO 21434
OEM-specific SDLC standards
Support executive product updates, customer demos, and roadmap reviews.
Required Qualifications
Core Experience
· 10+ years of experience in Automotive software, systems engineering, or digital engineering.
· 3+ years in Product Manager / Product Owner / Technical Program Manager roles.
· Hands-on experience with MBSE frameworks and tools (SysML, Simulink, Rhapsody, Cameo, 3DX).
· AI & Digital Skills
· Practical experience with AI/ML or Generative AI in engineering or enterprise workflows.
· Familiarity with LLMs, RAG pipelines, data engineering, and cloud/edge AI architectures.
· Ability to convert AI capabilities into scalable automotive engineering solutions (beyond PoCs).
· Automotive Domain Knowledge
· Strong understanding of:
· Software Defined Vehicles (SDV)
· E/E Architectures
· ADAS
· Connected Car
· OTA
· EV Systems
· Experience with automotive validation, safety-critical systems, and V&V processes.
· Prior OEM or Tier-1 supplier experience preferred.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
· Experience with PLM/ALM tools (Teamcenter, 3DX, Jira, Jama).
· Exposure to Digital Thread / Digital Twin initiatives.
· Experience leading automotive AI or MBSE transformation programs.
· MBA or Master’s Degree in Systems / Automotive / Software Engineering.
· Exposure to SysML modeling tools such as MagicDraw.
