Technical Lead – (AWS Glue, Lambda, DBT)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Lead to drive our data engineering initiatives. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and DBT, and will be responsible for leading technical teams, architecting scalable data solutions, and driving transformation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of data pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and DBT.
- Architect scalable and secure data solutions in a cloud-native environment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Mentor and guide engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
- Drive adoption of best practices in data engineering, DevOps, and cloud architecture.
- Ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of data systems.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Champion change management and lead initiatives that improve data quality, accessibility, and governance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and DBT.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud-native development.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Proven leadership experience in managing technical teams and delivering complex projects.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect, Data Analytics).
- Experience with other AWS services like S3, Redshift, Athena, Step Functions.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
