Job Description: Technical Analyst Lead
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for executing the full data migration lifecycle.
Deliverables:
· data mapping (three business areas, ~2 weeks each), conversion logic reviews weekly, cycle testing (two business areas and six all-data cycles), and six reconciliation cycles, Data validation at record level.
· Data analysis, cleansing, conversion, and reconciliation.
· Data Analysis Plan, Data Cleansing Approach, Data Conversion Plan, DCCARs, reconciliation reports, and knowledge transfer documentation.
· Weekly reports,
· Development of PL/SQL packages, Procedures, and ETL scripts
· Setting up staging tables and data pipelines
Reports:
· Data Analysis Plan
· Data Conversion Plan

Application platform: COPS 1.0 is an Oracle Forms system, while COPS 2.0 (V3) is a Java-based application. COPS 2.0 will entirely replace COPS 1.0.
DB: Both applications will be on Oracle 19c with clustered architecture.
Responsibilities:
· The work involves querying legacy data, building staging tables and ETL scripts, validating conversions, and managing data quality and governance.
· Provides analysis, validation, and review support of mapping or conversion deliverables.
· Expected to execute actual cleansing scripts within test and staging environments.
· Expected to perform hands-on data conversion activities (e.g.. writing and running SQL scripts), as well as provide oversight, validation, and quality assurance for the System Integrator's conversion work.
· Bridging scripts between parallel and reverse-parallel processing environments will need to be newly developed.
· Will be taking on the external data source conversion responsibilities of the Fund.
· Total estimated data volume to be migrated – 500GB that includes both historical & active records.
· Coordinate with other teams, like QA, IV&V, Cybersecurity and System Coordinator apart Business teams.
· Performs technical and quality reviews, documents findings, and formally recommends acceptance or remediation to the Fund’s Project Manager
Key tools include Oracle DB, SQL/PLSQL, TOAD, Informatica, Talend, SSIS, Excel, and secure data transfer utilities.
Experience and Technical Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
· 6+ years of experience as a business/technical analyst, with at least 2+ years in a lead or supervisory role.
· Minimum of five (5) years of experience in data analysis, migration, or business systems analysis.
· Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and systems analysis.
· Proficient in Oracle 19C, SQL, and data profiling tools.
· Experience in data reconciliation, cleansing, and validation.
· Strong analytical ability to interpret complex data relationships and business logic.
· Skilled in documentation and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
