Position: Sr. Systems Administrator
Location: Franklin, TN (Onsite)
Duration: 6 months, contract to hire
This individual will support end-user computing, server environments, and network infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
– Provide customers with technical assistance.
– Provide off-hour support when needed.
– Local user/workstation support.
– Network troubleshooting.
– Manage virtualized VMware environment.
– Server administration and support – physical/virtual.
– Monitor infrastructure and respond to alerts.
– Interface with vendors for troubleshooting.
– Assist in the tracking and management of IT fixed assets.
– On-call for a week and not again for 10 weeks.
Requirements:
– 7+ years of experience managing/supporting IT Infrastructure as a systems administration
Experience with the following:
– Windows Server Administration
– MS Windows 10 operating systems support and hardening
– Active Directory knowledge – creating/managing user accounts, distribution/security groups, managing/moving objects.
– Providing local user/workstation support, including problem, ticket management
– Server administration and support for corporate/shared servers – physical/virtual
– Supporting local VM Farm – VMware.
– End-user computing and infrastructure security controls
– Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues in an efficient and timely manner.
– Creating and providing innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
– Possess a high level of organizational skills and ability to self-manage and prioritize a dynamic workload.
– Network troubleshooting of Cisco network device
– Configuring Cisco switches and routers for network infrastructure support.
– NetApp management
– Installation and configuration of hardware and software.
– Monitoring infrastructure and responding to alerts – SolarWinds.
– Exchange administration – 2016 and O365.
– Ability to troubleshoot MFA/VPN issues.
– Ability to use and support PCs, Microsoft Office Suite, and general office equipment (i.e., printers, copy machines, FAX machines, etc.)
– Azure Cloud Services
