Job description:
As a Senior Pega Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation, configuration, and administration of Pega applications. You will ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of our Pega environment to support business needs, while also providing strategic insights and leadership in Pega-related projects.
Responsibilities:
* Administer, manage, and maintain Pega environments, including installations, configurations, and upgrades.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Pega applications with other enterprise systems.
* Monitor system health and performance, proactively addressing issues to minimize disruptions.
* Develop and implement best practices for Pega system security, backup, and recovery.
* Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support for Pega applications.
* Lead the planning and execution of Pega upgrades and patches.
Mentor and guide junior administrators and technical staff.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions within the Pega platform.
* Document procedures, policies, and standards for installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Pega infrastructure.
* Stay updated with the latest Pega technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and functionality.
Required skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years specifically in Pega administration.
* Strong expertise in Pega Platform (preferably Pega 7.x and above).
* Proven experience with Pega deployment and environment management.
* Proven experience with Pega deployment and environment management.
* In depth knowledge of Pega integration capabilities, including web services, REST APIs, and connectors.
* Experience with data migration, load balancing, and high-availability configurations.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex technical challenges.
* Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
* Pega certifications such as Certified System Architect (CSA) or Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) are highly desirable.
