Position: Software Automation Testing

Location: Jersey city, New Jersey – Onsite

Hire type: Contract

Client: Persistent

 

Software skills – Hands-on -Automation Testing , SQL/ETL/ DL Testing skills/Dashboard testing, Automation frameworks

 

Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years working in Software Development or a combination of education and experience
• 6yrs hands on automation experience
• 5+yrs SQL /database testing
• 1 year functional testing experience
• Excellent communication skills and client management skills

Technical Skills

•               Automation Experience Mandatory (minimum 6yrs hands on) – Preferred – Python   

•               Excellent communication skills with high experience in client management.

•               Experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong SQL/ETL/ DL Testing skills/Dashboard testing (mandatory)

•               Experience testing Data lake testing skills

•               Highly preferred/recommended – 21 CFR Part 11/Healthcare.

•               Develop test plans

•               Develop detailed test scripts

•               Generate and track defects

•               Work with Developer to diagnose and fix defects

•               Coordinate Acceptance testing with Customer if required

•               Create automated test scripts based on requirements and test specifications

•               Good knowledge of automated testing tools

•               Assess the quality of specifications and technical design documents to ensure timely, relevant and meaningful feedback

•               Implement strategies for quality management and testing

•               Implement a strategy for quality coordination and testing

•               Test current products and identify deficiencies

•               Suggest solutions to identified product problems

•               Investigate product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction

•               Identify quality assurance process bottleneck and suggest actions for improvement

•               Oversee continuous improvement projects

•               Collect quality data and track defects through resolution

•               Send daily reports reflecting status and progress of tasks performed

•               Assist to daily team meetings and provide useful and concise feedback about tasks performed

•               Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

•               Great interpersonal and communication skills

•               Attention to detail

•               Flexibility and adaptability on managing/prioritizing multiple tasks
