Job Description:

The SharePoint PM is responsible for a portfolio of custom developed, the rebuild of existing SP2016 sites to SharePoint Online, and O&M SP support activities.  The PM will lead a team of 12 and will be the primary POC responsible for managing the direct clients, SP customers, and organizational senior client leadership.  The PM must have proven experience with complex SP delivery such as transitioning from onsite to cloud hosting, SP upgrade strategies, and complex custom solution development.  The PM will spearhead the team’s product roadmap and will work with the customer to continually re-assess program needs and priorities. 

Role & Responsibilities:

·         Work independently as a program leader and to serve as steward of the IT departments SP solution capabilities

·         Manage cross cutting relationships with infrastructure, help desk, security and other teams that may be needed to assist with SP project execution

·         Managing multiple direct client and customer relationships; potentially with competing priorities

·         Provide project management in all areas such as LOEs, monthly status reports, resources, financials, budget, forecasting, incident management and reporting

·         Deliver SP solutions within budget, scope, and cost

·         Identify and resolve issues critical to the clients’ strategic and operational success

·         Manage multiple work streams and assigning priorities to tasks

·         Communicate and present complex technical solutions in a manner in which non-technical staff or customers can understand

·         Present conclusions and recommendations to senior client management

 

Required Skills:

1.       7+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree is required. Commensurate experience for education.

2.       3+ years of experience in project management including initiating, planning, scheduling, estimating, forecasting, coordinating, controlling, managing, and delivering IT projects

3.       Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, including PowerAutomate/Flow, Forms, and PowerApps

4.       Experience in SharePoint to include application development, migrations, and ongoing maintenance support

5.       Experience with Agile processes and Scrum ceremonies: managing and facilitating backlog refinement, sprint planning, mid- sprint reviews, sprint demos, retros, etc.

6.       Experience in requirements gathering, development of wireframes, user stories and acceptance criteria

7.       Experience collaborating with Product Owners, Business Partners, developers, and Architects to build and define the Product Backlogs and complete release planning

8.       Experience managing the evolution of the User Story and reviewing story analysis to determine conditions of satisfaction and the impact to other systems, projects, domains, and operational teams have been outlined

9.       Experience in customer relationship management

10.   Knowledge of Software Development Agile Frameworks, including Scaled Agile, Scrum and Kanban

Preferred Skills:

1.       Experience working on large, IT enabled complex projects

2.       Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

3.       Hands on experience with SharePoint Development (InfoPath, SP Designer, Power Platform)

4.       Experience using ServiceNOW

5.       Expertise in JIRA and Confluence

6.       Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact at all levels of an organization

7.       Confidence in recommending best practice and architectural design for new implementations in the environment

8.       Delivery focused, structured, logical thinker with the capacity to lead, manage and motivate a team working with exact timeframes and specific expectations for delivery
