Role: Service Now Developer
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Central Michigan
Onsite preferred. Candidates based in Michigan with the ability to be onsite as
needed will be considered.

This role requires a consultant who is not only technically strong, but also
comfortable working directly with executive leadership and non-technical
stakeholders. The clients internal team has limited administrative depth on
the platform, so the ability to simplify concepts, provide clear guidance, and
act as a trusted advisor is critical.
Key Responsibilities
Design,
develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions with a focus on ITSM support
and ITOM Visibility implementation
Provide
hands-on development and configuration across ServiceNow modules
Support
and optimize existing ITSM processes and workflows
Lead
and support ITOM Visibility initiatives including discovery, service
mapping, and related components
Translate
business and operational needs into simple, scalable ServiceNow
solutions
Work
closely with executive leadership, IT leadership, and operational teams,
including C-level stakeholders
Act as
a subject matter expert and advisor, helping the client understand
platform
capabilities and best practices
Provide
guidance and light administrative support where internal knowledge is
limited
Ensure
solutions are well documented, maintainable, and aligned with ServiceNow
best practices
Required Qualifications
Strong
hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise or public
sector environments
Proven
experience supporting ITSM implementations in ServiceNow
Experience
implementing or supporting ITOM Visibility
Ability
to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical
stakeholders, including executive leadership
Demonstrated
ability to simplify complex technical concepts for less
experienced ServiceNow users and administrators
Strong
problem-solving skills and a consultative mindset
Experience
working in staff augmentation or client-facing consulting roles
Preferred Qualifications
Experience
supporting State, Local, or Education clients
ServiceNow
certifications such as CSA, CIS ITSM, or CIS ITOM
Experience
working onsite with customers and building trusted relationships
Ability
to commit to a longer-term engagement if mutually aligned
