Job Description
Support Agile delivery that provides business value and delivers quality results ensuring alignment and adherence to Wells Fargo Agile practices, managing capacity and mitigating risk.
Facilitate the Scrum Agile ceremonies for the teams.
Ensure the flow of work is systemically managed to effectively and efficiently deliver value, Senior Scrum Master including partnering with Product Owner to ensure a healthy backlog.
Perform and share regular Agile team health checks and enable the team to incorporate targets into continuous improvement goals.
Protect the team from distractions and support the resolution of their impediments so they can focus on their commitments and maximize the benefit of the team’s performance potential.
Facilitate team events, engaging team members while promoting productivity and addressing impediments.
Works with Product Owner to communicate delivery of work product from the delivery team and escalates key risks and issues impeding delivery team effectiveness.
Establishing, communicating, and monitoring product-area goals and performance indicators.
Facilitating frequent collaboration between stakeholders.
Actively owning the prioritization of a clearly understood product area backlog aligned to Senior Scrum Master product area vision and goals.
Coordinating with other product owners in service of the customer experience.
Defining and refining user stories, including business readiness stories, ensuring acceptance criteria is clearly understood by the team.
Responsible for ensuring that all known work is added to the backlog and made transparent.
Maintain a healthy backlog of items that are linked appropriately (Story → Feature → Epic).
Accepting user stories after they have met the acceptance criteria and the Senior Scrum Master definition of done.
Actively participating in all product area events.
Identifying and resolving sequencing and prioritization conflicts across products and product areas.
Inspiring and leading high-performing, cross-functional teams.
Being available to the team to answer questions and address escalated impediments.
Maintaining continuous and cadenced communication with the product manager and Senior Scrum Master delivery teams
Coordinating with business analysts, delivery coordinators, POs, and supporting roles that are shared across delivery teams.

Strong risk management leadership skills
Strong dependency management skills
Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, at all levels of the organization, including senior executive-level leadership
Ability to influence and lead organizational change in a dynamic environment
Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
Experience working with and leading delivery teams
Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussion to explore the best possible solutions and possess the ability to lead
Experience with Agile practices, and frameworks (e.g., Kanban, Scrum, etc.) and workflow, and collaboration tools, such as Confluence, and Jira
