1. Work across functions and platform teams to define, design and implement a MR HW system reliability strategy, defining goals at the system and subsystem level for all platform teams. 2. Work with design engineers to define, design and implement reliability requirements, goals, test plans, test procedures, test fixtures and test reports. 3. Work with the product owners to evaluate components and sub-systems for quality improvements based on data 4. With assistance of the applicable Subject Matter Expert (SME), complete FMEAs, P-Diagrams and work to keep these documents up to date. 5. Develop reliability planning, testing, and analysis activities on design projects within both New Product Introduction (NPI) and Installed Base (IB) programs. 6. Perform basic trouble shooting encompassing multiple variables and unknowns to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution. Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions. 7. Make design recommendations and implement change to improve reliability. 8. Execute efforts to meet product reliability goals and to plan, execute and monitor activities to achieve those goals 9. Review and coordinate Hardware Design for Reliability (DFR) plans, testing and execution by leveraging expertise in DFR methods, 10. Evaluate current and emerging technologies against product requirements and provide recommendations to improve current products reliability. |
