Job Description:

Experience level:- Minimum 06 years.

The Role:- This position is responsible for the development and maintenance of Mainframe applications. The development and maintenance activity predominantly uses COBOL, IMS, DB2, and CICS.

About the Team:- As a Senior Mainframe Engineer, you will work with a talented client mainframe team that supports some of the most critical processes within the company for building medium and heavy-duty trucks across North America.

This position will:-

· Work with customers to define, design, and propose alternative solutions in response to changing business needs.

· Work with customers to troubleshoot reported issues.

· Provide system administration support.

· Must be able and willing to work weekends and evenings to support on-call responsibilities as needed.

Required Experience & Skills:-

· Five years of software engineering experience including code development, scripting, workflow, and data mapping.

· Five years of mainframe support experience: COBOL, IMS (DB), DB2, CICS, JCL

· Advanced computer system skills including use of word processing, databases, and spreadsheets.

· Strong verbal/written communication skills.

· Demonstrated ability to work independently and/or as a team member.

· Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
