Job Role: Senior Lead Engineer (Node.js)
Location: San Francisco, CA or Frisco, TX- Onsite Day 1.

Retail/ecommerce/omnichannel Domain experience is must

13-15+ years of exp.

Mandatory Skills
Strong expertise in Node.js and TypeScript for backend services.
Experience with Nest.js (preferred), Express, or Fastify frameworks.
Proven ability in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Familiarity with API design (REST, GraphQL) and integration troubleshooting
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog) for proactive issue detection.
Understanding of cloud environments (GCP preferred; AWS/Azure acceptable).

Conduct regular audits of API endpoints and authentication flows (OAuth2, JWT).

Backend:

Node js, TypeScript, Nest js (preferred), Express, Fastify

BFF layer for React front-end integration

API Gateway and rate-limiting strategies

API & Integration:

REST, GraphQL Apollo, gRPC

Webhooks and third-party API integrations

GCP (primary), AWS/Azure knowledge is a plus

Docker, Kubernetes (GKE), Helm

Terraform for Infrastructure as Code

SQL: PostgreSQL, Cloud SQL
