Job Description :
The Senior RWE Expert will play a strategic and execution-focused role in driving Real-World Evidence (RWE) and Real-World Data (RWD) initiatives across assigned patient populations and assets. This position partners closely with RWE Strategy Leads, cross-functional stakeholders, and external vendors to design, execute, interpret, and communicate high-quality RWE studies aligned with global evidence strategy
RWE Strategy & Leadership
- Provide strategic input to support and shape the Global RWD/RWE Strategy and Tactical Plan for assigned assets and patient populations
- Act as a senior RWE subject-matter expert, advising internal stakeholders using strong epidemiological and medical knowledge
Study Design & Execution
- Lead and support RWE study design, planning, and execution using primary and/or secondary real-world data
- Develop and review study protocols, analysis specifications, and methodological approaches aligned with best practices
- Ensure scientific rigor, regulatory readiness, and methodological validity across all RWE activities
Cross-Functional & External Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal RWE colleagues and external vendors/partners to deliver RWE projects successfully
- Represent RWE on cross-functional asset teams, including:
- Medical Affairs
- Patient Safety
- Regulatory
- Market Access
- Commercial / Marketing
Analysis Interpretation & Communication
- Drive interpretation of RWE analyses in collaboration with RWE Strategy Leads and internal stakeholders
- Provide clear guidance and clarification to RWE Analysts on protocol implementation and insights
- Communicate RWE findings effectively to internal and external audience
Required Qualifications (Minimum)
- 3+ years of experience successfully conceptualizing and delivering Real-World Evidence projects
- Hands-on experience using primary and/or secondary real-world data
- Background in pharmaceutical industry, recognized consultancy, or academic center of excellence
- Strong understanding of epidemiology, outcomes research, and real-world study methodologies
