Senior Database Administrator
Location: Miami, FL (Onsite)
Duration: Long term Contract
Experience : 15+years
Required Skills :
The candidate must have skill and 15 years combined experience in database administration for the following database platforms:
DB2 for z/OS
SQL Server 2008R2, 2012
Oracle 10g and above
Experience with the FDOT integrated database infrastructure a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS application integration, performance management and data base administration
Advanced knowledge of upgrading DB2 for z/OS & catalog maintenance
Advanced knowledge of DB2 for z/OS sub-system point in time recovery
Knowledge on JCL, z/OS integrated platform, CA GEN model management and application object support, ISPF, ASG Scheduler, COBOL.
In depth knowledge of the use and interpretation of DB2 for z/OS database monitoring tools & z/OS software monitoring tools
Solid working knowledge of z/OS started task creation and management & IBI z/OS service support, AFOPER commands, RACF, CICS, IOF.
Solid working knowledge of the technical requirements of Disaster Recovery
Solid working knowledge of verification testing techniques for infrastructure change management
