Description:
The day-to-day responsibilities of the trainer include running cohorts, teaching cybersecurity with a focus on application security, and collaborating with developers to address any issues they may have. The trainer should have a good understanding of application security and be able to explain vulnerabilities and remediation techniques to developers
The meeting also covered the interview process, which will be twofold: the first round conducted by advisors and leads, and the second round by the manager. The candidate must be local to Reston, Virginia, and have a strong understanding of application security
Security Trainers:
• Content Design: Collaborate with Security Coaches, Security Advisors and SME(s) to design the training modules to align with industry and Fanniemae based security best practices.
• Content Development: The trainers develop the presentation once the design is reviewed and approved by functional area SMEs and Security advisors.
• Content Delivery: Upon final review/approval from the functional area SME’s, and the Information Security Trainers deliver the presentation to the different security cohorts
• Host weekly Cohort training sessions
• Host Bi-Weekly Office hours for Q& A
• Information Security Trainers are responsible for closing feedback loop from the cohorts and customers, by bringing back the topics of interest back to the program backlog.
• Excellent work ethics and organizational, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of computer languages like Python, Java, JavaScript, and C++
• Ad hoc training to address newly identified security related issues/ topics tailored to Fanniemae environment and setup
