Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to support the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, finance teams, and technical teams to implement SAP solutions that improve financial processes, reporting, and compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and support SAP FI and CO modules including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional specifications.
- Participate in SAP implementation, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.
- Configure and maintain financial processes such as month-end closing, financial reporting, and cost allocation.
- Work closely with ABAP developers to develop functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, and forms (RICEFW objects).
- Support integration with other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
- Perform system testing, UAT support, and production deployment activities.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO issues and system defects.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal controls.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
- Knowledge of General Ledger, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, and Profitability Analysis (CO-PA).
- Experience with SAP integration with MM, SD, and other modules.
- Understanding of financial processes such as month-end closing, financial consolidation, and reporting.
- Experience in business process analysis and solution design.
- Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience working with SAP FICO.
- Experience with SAP implementation or migration projects.
- SAP FICO Certification is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with S/4HANA Finance implementation or migration.
- Knowledge of financial reporting tools and SAP Fiori.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
