Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Senior CPQ Developer / Lead with 10+ years of total experience and at least 5+ years of hands-on CPQ experience (including 3-5 full CPQ implementations). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce CPQ development, integration, and configuration, along with experience managing offshore development teams, particularly in India. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, leadership skills, and communication expertise to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement Salesforce CPQ solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs and best practices.
• Lead end-to-end CPQ implementations (from requirement gathering to post-go-live support).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, developers, and architects) to define and deliver scalable CPQ solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to offshore development teams, ensuring quality delivery, adherence to best practices, and efficient collaboration.
• Develop and optimize CPQ configurations, rules, workflows, pricing, approvals, and quote generation functionalities.
• Implement custom Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrations to enhance CPQ capabilities.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex Salesforce CPQ issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with Salesforce best practices, including security, scalability, and maintainability.
• Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce CPQ features and recommend improvements.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Followings are the Required Qualification to become Salesforce Senior CPQ Developer:
• 10+ years of total experience in Salesforce development.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce CPQ (SteelBrick).
• 3-5 full CPQ implementation projects with complex configurations.
• Strong expertise in Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce CPQ with ERP, billing, and other third-party systems.
• Proven experience working with offshore (India) development teams in a lead role.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to interact with technical and business stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce best practices, governor limits, and performance optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce Certifications:
• Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist
• Salesforce Certified Administrator
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II (preferred)
• Salesforce Certified Application Architect (a plus)
• Experience with DevOps tools (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins, Git) for Salesforce deployments.
• Prior experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Location & Work Arrangement:
• Based in the USA, preferably on the East Coast.
• Hybrid or remote work options may be available depending on the employer.
