What this role really means:
This person focuses on how a company makes money using Salesforce.
They handle:
- Pricing
- Quotes
- Subscriptions
- Billing
They don’t code — they design the business logic.
What they do daily:
- Work with business teams → “How should pricing work?”
- Configure processes in Salesforce Revenue Cloud
- Support quote-to-cash lifecycle
- Help testing (UAT)
Mandatory Skills:
- Strong knowledge of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote)
- Understanding of Billing / Subscription models
- Requirement gathering & documentation
- Revenue lifecycle understanding
- Salesforce CPQ certification
- Experience in SaaS or subscription businesses
