Salesforce Performance Engineer Local to Georgia

Location: Atlanta, GA Onsite

Job Description:

Reduce Turnaround time
Conduct deep root cause analysis on performance bottlenecks.
Need to have extensive experience with Salesforce-specific performance engineering and proficiency with monitoring tools like Dynatrace and Quantum Metrics.
Core competencies:
Salesforce performance engineering: Proven experience in performance analysis, tuning, and optimization for Salesforce applications, including custom components built with Apex and other platform tools.
Application Performance Monitoring (APM):
Dynatrace: Extensive, hands-on experience using Dynatrace for APM, log analytics, and infrastructure monitoring. The ability to create custom dashboards, configure alerts, and use its features to identify performance issues is essential.
Quantum Metrics: Experience using Quantum Metrics to analyze user behavior, understand performance trends, and identify real-time user experience issues.
Root cause analysis (RCA): The ability to go beyond simple load testing to methodically identify and resolve the underlying causes of performance degradation. Experience with RCA methodologies like the 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams is a plus.
Analytical skills: Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities to identify and diagnose complex performance problems and code-level bottlenecks.
Performance metrics and optimization: Deep understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, latency, and memory usage.
Experience with JVM performance tuning and analyzing system metrics (CPU, disk, network).
Key responsibilities:
Improve application performance: Drive initiatives to reduce application turnaround and response times by analyzing, solving, and automating performance workloads across large-scale Salesforce systems.
Collaborate and consult: Work with development, product, and architecture teams to establish performance baselines, define system performance parameters, and advise on best practices.
Communicate findings: Clearly report and present performance test results, analysis findings, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
