Job description:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Automation QA to join our Salesforce Platform Quality Assurance team.

· The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automated tests to ensure the quality of our software products.

· You will work closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and build efficient, reliable test solutions.

· You should have a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), be up to date with modern Quality Engineering frameworks, and demonstrate experience in backend, frontend, API testing and awareness on AI capable test tools.

Responsibilities:

· Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

· Work with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.

· Execute automated test suites and analyze results to identify issues.

· Contribute to the development and maintenance of automation frameworks.

· Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

· Collaborate with QA and development teams to improve overall test processes and coverage.

· Log and track defects and assist in root cause analysis and resolution.

· Ensure test environments and test data are properly configured.

Key Role Requirement:

· Minimum 3-6 years of test automation experience.

· Hands-on experience in test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.

· Proficiency in programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#.

· Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or SoapUI.

· Familiarity with source control systems (e.g., Git).

· Good at test case design, test script optimization using AI tools.

· Understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. · Good verbal and written communication skills.

Required Certifications:

· Salesforce Certified Administrator.

· Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.

· Certified in software testing like ISTQB or other QA certifications.

· Certified Selenium Tester, ISTQB Certified Test Automation Engineer, Certified Cypress Tester / Playwright Automation or other Test Automation certifications.
