Job – RTAP SCADA + Oasys SCADA Engineer
Location – Houston, TX – Hybrid 2-3 days a week
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RTAP SCADA + Oasys SCADA Engineer/Technician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration, and maintenance of RTAP SCADA + Oasys SCADA systems used for monitoring and controlling industrial processes.
They will also provide technical support to clients and internal teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, install and configure RTAP Scada + Oyasys SCADA systems for various industrial applications
• Develop and maintain system documentation including system specifications, user manuals, and operational procedures
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and provide technical support to clients and internal teams
• Perform system upgrades and modifications as required to ensure optimal system performance
• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure compliance with industry standards
• Participate in project planning and implementation activities, including coordinating with internal teams and external vendors
• Stay current with new developments and emerging technologies in SCADA systems and related fields
• Provide training to clients and internal teams on RTAP SCADA + Oyasys SCADA systems and related technologies Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in designing, installing and maintaining SCADA systems, preferably with RTAP SCADA + Oyasys SCADA
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation and control systems, including PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs
• Proficient in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, and Java
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed
