JOB DESCRIPTION:
Role: Senior Network Engineer
This position provides senior technical leadership in the area of network design, operations and service management. Assists less experienced technical staff on LAN and WAN network support. Is involved in projects providing technical team leadership and helping to set direction. Defines, documents and recommends standards, implementation plans, support procedures and technical specifications. Works with management staff and other team technical leads to define strategy and set technical direction. Oversees operational delivery of outsourced teams.
Skill Required:
• Required Networking skills include BGP, NATs, VPNs, VLANs, Subnetting and troubleshooting
• Experience configuring and managing Enterprise UTM Firewalls (Fortigate 3301E, FortiAnalyzer 1000E and Cisco ASA a plus)
• Routing and Switching configuration and troubleshooting required (Cisco Nexus 7k, 5k and Cat 9k a plus)
• F5 BIG-IP LTM configuration and management experience desired but not required
• Cisco ISE experience a plus
• Cisco Wireless configuration and troubleshooting a plus
• Microsoft Azure Networking experience desired but not required
• Solarwinds, Wireshark and Visio experience a plus
