Azure Cloud Architect

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure Architect to design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure services, cloud architecture principles, and enterprise-scale deployments, including cloud migration strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure-based solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Develop cloud architecture blueprints, migration strategies, and security frameworks.
- Lead cloud adoption initiatives, including hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
- Conduct discovery and assessment of existing workloads for migration readiness.
- Define and execute migration plans for applications, databases, and infrastructure to Azure.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure compliance with best practices.
- Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of Azure resources.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Ensure security, governance, and compliance across Azure environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services (Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, Monitoring).
- Expertise in Azure migration tools (Azure Migrate, ASR, Database Migration Service).
- Hands-on experience in discovery, assessment, and migration of workloads to Azure.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates or Terraform.
- Knowledge of cloud security principles, identity management (Azure AD), and compliance standards.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, VPN, ExpressRoute, and load balancing.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with multi-cloud strategies (AWS/GCP).
- Knowledge of data services (Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Factory).
- Background in application modernization and microservices architecture.
