Our client is looking for a Drools Developer to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading healthcare providers in US. The ideal candidate must possess excellent background on Front end and backend development technologies. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical experts in the team.
Responsibilities
As a Java Developer, you will
• Work with Tech Lead to understand both business and technical requests and requirements and integrate those needs into platform capabilities.
• Define the solution architecture and system design aligned to the common platform’s architecture best practices and goals
• Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and perform hands on development and unit testing
• Perform technical design and code reviews to maintain high quality and secure software
• Develop robust, reusable and reliable platform components which enhance the platform, frameworks and services.
• Coordinate onsite and offshore developers to provide training and making progress
• Grow as a developer by exchanging knowledge and ideas with team members and other developers.
• Participate in technical design reviews and code reviews.
Requirements
• Overall Software Engineering experience should be 7 to 8 years
• Relevant experience with drools development should be 3 to 4 years
• Strong Java Development Experience (Spring/Boot Frameworks ) and backend/ business rules and logic.
• Preferred experience with Migration of rules based engine to AWS Cloud.
• AWS cloud native working experience
• Experience with Red Hat Open Shift and Drools Community Edition.
• Experience with integration of legacy Java application with drools community edition
• REST / API Development Experience.
• CI/CD – Jenkins, Docker, Build Tools Maven, Ant.
• Product development/enhancement experience using Agile Scrum Methodology
• Ability to accelerate design and deploy advanced features in Drools Community Edition
• AWS cloud , OCP, Drools Experience
• Experience in engineering complex business rules execution using Drools Community Edition or Red Hat Decision Manager combined with cloud based Java legacy application
