Job Description
Role and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer with over 5 years of experience in testing embedded devices. The ideal candidate will have expertise in WiFi and BLE protocols, proficiency in test case development, and hands-on experience with tools such as iPerf and Wireshark. Intermediate programming skills in C or Python are required.
Key Responsibilities:
· In-depth working experience in WiFi, covering 802.11 ax/ac/ay/ad, and Bluetooth (BTC/BLE) across various profiles (A2DP/HFP/AVRCP/GATT/L2CAPCOC).
· Expertise in connectivity technology validation, including protocol and performance characterization (RvR, RvOvR).
· Experience in the setup and utilization of connectivity test equipment like Octobox, Veriwave, and Vertex.
· Proficiency in working with WiFi and Bluetooth packet sniffers such as iPerf, Wireshark, tcpdump, Btool, Ellisys, etc.
· Familiarity with traffic generator tools like iGen, Ixia Chariot, and iPerf.
· Capability to capture, analyze, and review sniffer logs, providing insightful comments on problematic areas.
· Definition and documentation of test plans, including the creation of detailed test cases.
· Experience in testing applications, frameworks, network protocols (WiFi, BLE), and driver/Firmware code.
Technical Skills:
· WiFi, Bluetooth, BLE, and other related protocols.
· Embedded devices testing.
· Proficient use of tools such as iPerf, iGen, iXia, Wireshark, tcpdump, etc.
Education:
· Bachelors or Masters degree.
Additional Skills:
· Wireshark, Test Case Development, Test Plans, Sniffer, Python, tcpdump, Bluetooth, Digital Coins, Test Engineering.
Languages:
· English: Read, Write, Speak.
