QA Engineer (API Testing)

Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for REST APIs using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
• Execute and manage API test automation suites to ensure robust backend validation.
• Conduct functional, performance, and load testing across web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify and report application security vulnerabilities and assist in remediation efforts.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable insights to improve system performance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• REST API Test Automation – 2–5 Years
• API Testing Automation – 5–10 Years
• Functional Testing – 2–5 Years
• Load Testing – 2–5 Years
• Performance Testing – 2–5 Years

Nice to Have:

Application Security Testing (2–5 Years)
