The role is intended to provide delivery leadership and direction to strategic projects within the utility space.
Responsibilities of the role include:
* Overseeing QA delivery, ensuring the team delivers within the bounds of the contract and exceeds client satisfaction goals.
* Serve as a point of escalation for issue resolution.
* Break-down barriers to progress alongside the client, other partner firms, and the Qualitest delivery organization and team.
* Work with the Qualitest Account Manager to provide progress updates and negotiate staffing needs.
Requirements:
Top Must Haves
At least 15 years of experience in vendor purchased system implementation in electric utilities – experience working with Real Time Systems
Examples include: ADMS = Advanced distribution management system, SCADA, Outage Management System (OMS) / Distribution Management System (DMS), and Advanced Applications, Meter Data Management (MDM), field service management (FSM) / mobile dispatch
Proven track record as a Quality Assurance Manager, Program or Project Manager, or other relevant leadership role over a large project implementation of a vendor sourced solution.
Skills and Position Requirements
* At least 15 years of experience in vendor purchased system implementation in electric utilities, with ADMS, OMS, SCADA, Advanced Applications features, or FSM/Mobile Dispatch solutions.
* Strong grasp of testing in the context of a vendor delivered system.
* Experience in SIT-FAT-SAT-UAT test phases and approach
* Familiarity with test automation and performance testing; nice to have, should be able to learn how to manage people doing this work quickly if they don't come in having this experience.
Example: need to be able to track return on investment for automation and report on results and consult client on these findings
* Excellent verbal and written communication and client management skills
