We are seeking a skilled Python/PySpark developer to support enhancements to an existing internal tool used for year-end welcome season activities. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Python and PySpark codebases, with the ability to read, interpret, and improve existing code.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with an existing team member to enhance and optimize the current tool.
- Understand the structure and logic of the existing Python/PySpark codebase.
- Implement improvements and new features aligned with year-end operational needs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to documentation as needed.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
- Proficient in SQL writing
- Experience working with existing codebases and making enhancements.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- BigQuery and Airflow skill set
