Position Overview

The Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams in the execution of projects aimed at remediating on-market products to meet Global State-of-the-Art standards. This role is responsible for coordinating all project activities, driving corrective actions, and ensuring alignment with regulatory, quality, cost, and schedule requirements. The individual will apply project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to meet or exceed stakeholder expectations while building strong working relationships across global teams.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Manage small to medium-scale projects with direct impact on the business plan.

Establish and lead multidisciplinary, potentially globally distributed teams to sustain Baxter Front Line Care products to State-of-the-Art standards.

Collaborate with functional leaders, project managers, and internal stakeholders to develop and execute robust project plans in accordance with established policies and processes.

Develop detailed project plans and manage implementation activities including resource allocation, progress tracking, change control, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints.

Assign tasks, responsibilities, and accountability to team members to achieve project and product objectives.

Ensure achievement of product quality goals, time-to-market objectives, and cost targets.

Manage labor, expense, and capital expenditures in support of approved project budgets.

Monitor project and product status, commitments, and risks; apply appropriate change management techniques to address variances.

Develop and maintain RACI charts, project metrics, dashboards, and status reports.

Manage vendor partners and provide regular status updates to senior leadership.

Required Background and Qualifications

Demonstrated project management expertise, including scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, financial management, and partner/contract management.

Proven ability to lead, influence, and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve challenging objectives.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster collaboration and execution.

Strong business acumen and decision-making skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

57 years of relevant experience; preferred experience leading new product development or remediation projects with multidisciplinary teams.

Applied knowledge of EU MDR and other international medical device regulations.

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
