Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Program Manager to lead complex technical and business programs that cut across multiple teams ensuring we continue to build industry leading experiences and capabilities. You will utilize expertise and leadership skills to coach and steer your team to help manage the product, or programs goals and OKRs. The main function is to oversee and drive all of the project cycle, with responsibilities including project design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting.
Job Responsibilities:
• Develops, tracks and manages project budget, project plans, timelines and scope
• Manage project resources including procuring project staff, developing, motivating, coaching and advising
• Partner closely with other members of functional project teams to define business requirements
• Lead teams of developers in the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business needs
• Define test plans and ensure that products are defect free before User Acceptance Testing
• Facilitate the User Acceptance Testing process, developing rollout plans and procedures
• Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses
• Ensure appropriate systems development and project management processes are being utilized
• Make presentations to steering committees or project sponsors
• Acts as advisor to management and key external stakeholders on projects
• Applies technical expertise to lead a wide array of activities associated with planning and managing complex technology projects. Ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications.
• Manages and oversees project management activities such as project reporting, project planning, issue/risk identification and tracking, scope management, estimation, internal client management, relationship management, and other project documentation preparation and turnover to production for complex technology projects.
Prefer Business knowledge:
• Knowledge of Asset Management, FinTech, Financial industry.
• Understands and makes decisions that are cognizant of the firm’s broader business strategy.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• PMP or PMI certification
• 8-10 years’ experience
• 8+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry with a preference for Asset Management.
• Proven project management experience
• People management and team building skills
• Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities
• Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization
• Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions
• Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment
