Title: Principal Data Engineer with ML AI
Location: Cincinnati OH Onsite
Job Description:
Squad: Machine Learning Data squad in Data Insights Tribe (Launching July 14, 2025)
Required: In office 4 days a week minimum. (Monday – Thursday)
- We’re hiring a Principal Data Engineer to help launch our new Machine Learning Data team at client.
- This individual will play a key role in shaping how we serve data to power model development and deployment across the bank, especially within our Data Science space.
- We’re looking for someone with deep experience in modern data engineering — ideally with a strong command of SQL, Snowflake, and dbt.
- You should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, curious about new ways to solve old problems, and energized by the opportunity to work cross-functionally with data scientists, product owners, and business teams.
- A successful candidate will be self-directed, thoughtful, and collaborative — someone who’s just as comfortable designing a scalable architecture as they are jumping in to troubleshoot a failing job.
- Experience with machine learning pipelines, feature engineering, or feature stores is a huge plus.
- Experience in highly regulated industries like banking, finance, or healthcare is preferred.
- This is a hands-on role with high visibility and high impact.
- We’re looking for someone who can inject fuel into this new team — bringing energy, expertise, and momentum to help us move fast and build with intention.
